Stephen Cue is a budding recording artist specializing in Pop and Soul from Dallas, Texas. Stephen comes from humble beginnings where he began singing and leading praise and worship at his local church. He tells us his passion is to inspire others and wants to touch people’s hearts in a positive way through music.
Stephen grew up inspired by artists such as Fred Hammond and Tye Tribbet and senses that his audience can hear their influence in his music. As he grew as a musician, he discovered more artists to take inspiration from, such as Musiq Soulchild, Ludacris, Marvin Gaye, and Kanye West.
The emotions in his recent song “Haunting” are drawn from heartbreak and the failed relationships or missed opportunities that come with the struggles of navigating our lives. Stephen tells us that the song is about the feeling of losing a part of yourself, the moment of hitting the bottom, but taking the power back into your own hands. In the end, it’s okay to admit you are going through tough times, but you also have the strength to get through.
